Membership, Facility & Hire

Te Kowhai Print Trust is an open access community owned printmaking facility. We are equipped for relief printing, lithography, screenprinting and letterpress. We are a membership based organisation however the space is also available for hire and can be used by visiting artists or non-members.

History

TKPT was born over coffee in ’82 when Ron de Rooy, a printing manager and graphic designer, and Pippa Sanders, a printmaker, hatched a plan. Their vision? A printmaking hub in Whangarei dedicated to celebrating and nurturing printmaking and printmakers of all ages and all stages.

Te Kowhai Print Trust remains an important community institution and actively seeks to enrich the lives of artists and printmakers. We run regular workshops and printmaking events to provide opportunities to develop and connect with the printmaking community.
